Geez, have you spent time in academia?

I have, a few times, and in my opinion it’s hard evidence.
(It’s also the reason why I stayed on to do a PhD. My one possible regret in life is that I went into business rather than academia as I think I would have enjoyed it. I’m open to offers if anyone’s reading this with a top shelf vacancy for a moody lecturer with corporate issues. Anyone?)
