Good grief, there are so many bad things going on there it’s hard to know where to start isn’t it?

I’m all in favour of upgrading ourselves, enhancing intelligence, and the like but not for the purposes of work and increasing my productivity in someone else’s sweatshop.

How narrow minded and conceited these people are to think anyone would go along with such a dystopian plan — why not just grow brainless clones and implant them with skills — as that’s what’s essentially proposed.

As far as I’m concerned the WEF is the usual kind of self-perpetuating echo chamber that happens a lot with so-called “forums” that are usually anything but, with their elitist approach and exclusive little get togethers.

I know it’s a way off but we have to stop seeing “business” and the accrual of money as the end goals here — it’s something we have to free ourselves from, not become more enthralled with. I’m tired of things only happening if they’re profitable, how about if they’re actually useful, or essential for the survival to us all?
