Hoho, I know. I'm just being a little facetious with lex and yacc really - just to show that people use them out of habit (perhaps) but don't really know why they were originally included in Unix and what they're actually useful for. I put in ffmpeg in an attempt to stay relevant :)

I'm worried to admit it in public but I also worked in the finance industry for a while. It just gets my goat when they start calling it fintech rather than banking software, or backend financial services and the like. Maybe it needed a polish up as people scrolled past it as it didn't sound too interesting?

I guess that's why startups have sexy names these days, at least they're (mostly) stopped dropping those vowels!
