Hoho, the scrolling up and down to the footnotes got me laughing. I like to have some fun with footnotes as, you know when you want to elaborate a bit but don't want to lose what you're saying? They're just great for that and a chance for the dreadful in-joke for anyone who's read previous articles. Unfortunately I do get carried away with them a bit.

I absolutely loved contracting (and did it for a long time) and might very well return to it. you get to experience so many bizarre and surreal situations than you do as a permanent employee and all kind of from the outside as you're not part of the bureaucratic power play hierarchy. It's the perfect job for many reasons.

I suppose when you've been in the game for a while you get a beautiful sense of perspective and can see things for what they really are...
