I always wanted to work there when I was younger, they always seemed to have something fascinating going on. Anything to do with telecoms was always a fascination and I did a lot of work in field early on. I was in another part of the country unfortunately, at the time, but did work with some other similar companies.

It was very old guard but innovative and actually quite fun if you don’t mind rattling tea trolleys, segregated tables for managers, and curled up sandwiches! And the true scientists often did have slide rules in their pockets or sometimes even behind their ears!
