I can't see a single upside on an unpaid time-wasting commute, being surrounded with distrations, or buying an overpriced lunch.

Working from home, for me at least, has enabled me to claim much of my life back and, although still a wage slave, work no longer dominates my life as it did before. Additionally, I no longer have to put up with the day to day depressing insidious corporate crap.
