I never said developers should work in isolation... just that there are way too many managers many of which are absolutely dreadful at managing.

In this article I'm outlining the type of manager that survives through preying on the technical skills of others even to the point of having them enter numbers into cells on a conference call as they think they're above "that sort of thing".

Shame on them!
