I see quite a few automated messages these days and many of them are obviously authored by ChatGPT (or some company just using OpenAI's API inside of some expensive 'SaaS' recruiter solution).

Of all the target markets they could try to con in this way, software engineering isn't a great choice but, after a little experience, they're so easy to spot - banal, boring structure, wordy, and bland.
