I think we'll have to agree to disagree on nuclear power - for me it's the cheapest long term zero emission method of generating energy at large scales ( most especially for base loads - something that renewables desperately need to support them).

Unfortunately we've been hindered by decades of disinformation from various "environmentalist" organisations - look at Germany who have recently been led into sabotaging their own energy production and economy by chiefly the Green Party.

We have similar issues in Ireland, with energy generation and security being hindered by the Green Party and its opposition to both nuclear power, security supply via new LNG terminals, and basically taxing everything that isn't a pushbike.
