Indeed, there's always fun to be had in taking the moral high ground. that's for sure.

But, sometimes, by just denying the oxygen of publicity to underhand management machinations some ideas just quietly suffocate.

I've seen this happen with agile evangelists who are continually made to bang their heads against the scrum board, HR insisting that everyone wear a "funny shirt" on Fridays, and instructions sent out that "everyone is to not leave before 5pm!".

Quiet civil disobedience through indifference...
