It hurts to read as it cuts so deep, if only more meetings were run with the right people, with the appropriate skills, and with only the people involved in the decisions to be made.

How did we enter an age where interactions were run along someone else's lines. It's like a throwback to a previous age - technology moved on but corporate approach to interactions just stayed fixed in time.

I think you're onto something there, helping people - actually being nice - is something that's sorely missed in oh so many interactions.
