It is truly frightening looking back at all of the wasted hours spent commuting and I swear it's something I'd never undertake again unless absolutely necessary - and someone's paying for my time doing it.

There's so much tradition around, isn't there? Much of it good, fulfilling, wonderful - but some of it the direct opposite, supported by those who benefit from it, burdening those who have to uphold it.

I think volumes could be written on the suffering and intimidation of women in the workplace, that continues to this very day.
