It's like LinkedIn is slowly and inevitably circling some great attractor of crap, the prose gets increasingly valueless, the content banal, and the posting automated and boilerplate.

I do think that the rising tide of banality at least makes genuine writing, or posts perhaps (but I don't hold out too much hope), stand out more.

We need some positives to hold on to!
