The dregs of code I've seen 'copilot' dredge up from its statistical analysis, sorry, machine learning backend, seems to be just vague pattern matching. I'd see it more in terms of a form on non-content based code completion.

Any organisation that thinks this is in any way a method of reducing actual engineers is headed for the trash can.

(Let's not even mention that it seems to learn from and regurgitate private repos verbatim.)
