True enough, I guess it's a question then of using power most efficiently even though it's renewable.
Adoption is a difficult one as I do see now that the people who can afford EVs have got them, everyone else isn't as interested as they're turning out to be expensive to buy and run but also people are discovering than looking for a public charger, queuing, hanging around in the rain, isn't a great experience.
It's like taking a hit in the pocket but getting little in return aside from a pat on the back for 'helping the planet'.
Ideally, at least I feel, we should be concentrate on more fundamental changes rather than pushing people into replacing cars with different cars.
