What about the issues surrounding inadequate public charging points or electricity grid infrastructure? Profiteering over prices (though the oil industry can hardly be called better in this regard) or that the up front investment required is beyond most of the working population?

EVs are great performance wise, but not so good if they can’t be refuelled as quickly and efficiently as ICE vehicles. I’m not an EV hater and would like for them to succeed but at the moment the hype outweighs the practicality of mass adoption significantly.
